Running Scared x Gyakusou Event Pictures

Nike and Jun Takahashi, founder and head designer of Japan’s coveted clothing label Undercover, proudly launched the first Nike x Undercover Gyakusou performance running collection at Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer on Sunday 10.31.10.  In celebration of the launch and in good ol’ spooky Halloween spirit, the NYC Bridge Runners hosted the first ever “Running Scared”, a 3.1 mile haunted run which kicked off at Bowery Stadium and commenced at 21 Mercer for the launch event.  Through dark alley ways and quiet streets, the Bridge Runners dodged real New York City rats, stopped traffic and made kids clutch their candy all while making their way to Mercer.  There, they were given a preview on the collection which fuses cutting edge Nike running innovations and design with the functionality of Takahashi’s Undercover.  Thanks to all who came out to help create a true New York moment!
