Nike Sportswear / We Are Always Here
A few of us BridgeRunners had the pleasure of participating in a Nike Sportwear shoot about a month back. Some of us opted for the 5am meet up time, others chose the night time shift. At the end of the day the weather was great and the photos and footage came out beautiful. Here’s a little rundown of what the shoot was all about…
“Photographer Tim Barber was commissioned to capture still imagery of this rogue group of urban athletes ( the BRIDGERUNNERS ) as they ran the bridges of New York. The photography was hung inside the space and presented as an editioned 96 page book. The photography was supported by three short documentary films directed by Wonford St.James. The content was presented alongside a spatial design and installation at The New Museum that took inspiration from bridge materials and structure. “

NIKE SPORTSWEAR STICKBALL TOURNAMENT
This past Sunday Nike kept it real and threw a Stickball Tournament over at the 21 Mercer shop. Participants included cool cats Vashtie, Futura, Heron, and Brandee Brown to name a few. Run with Style in Sneaker Jewelz
Sneaker Jewelry? Sounds kinda fun…Tricking out your sneakers with your own personal style..I like it! I saw these this morning and thought I would share. A lady by the name Sabrina Dehoff, is one of the Berlin creatives involved in the Nike IAM1 Journey, she designed this sneaker jewelry for the Air Max 1 and Air Maxim. Pretty cool idea on how to make running shoes not look like running shoes!
